Or turn on the Move Objects cheat and plant that way. To counteract this restriction you can remove a segment of the wall and plant your plants. This is something that the game designers will need to address, whether by adding a room marker in BuyDebug or something else and NOT something the Store Team can fix. The game now sees the "greenhouse" as an inside room (due to the floored roof) and as per the games rules, you can't build inside. If that's the case then you have done nothing wrong. I'm assuming that you have downloaded the updated version of the Greenhouse and have built a room and placed a flat roof down, then the Greenhouse roof pieces. So, I suspect it is something I am doing wrong. I visited the Stones Throw Greenhouse in town, and there are plants inside the greenhouse there. Every time I try to plant, an error pops up saying it must be outside. I was curious if anyone knew what is needed to plant inside a greenhouse? I built a greenhouse outside with the SwiftGro Gardening Station.
SimGuruCopeland has already addressed the issue too and posted why some parts of the building are not covered with snow even with the special roof and other parts are covered in snow.
There is a specific requirement and a room has to have a certain amount covered by a tile or roof to be actually considered "snow proof" where no snow would fall down, so no the lot I uploaded has no snow in the entire building, along with the fact there is no way to make it so all plants cannot be dormant, only a few plants will show to be not dormant and that's it. Plants in Planter pots inside a building I own the Greenhouse set, messed with it ALL DAY, I have already tested the lot itself in Seasons, all plants have frosted outdoors, but indoors only a FEW frosted except: It doesn't matter what type of plant it is, they ALL go dormant if they are under the greenhouse roof, they do not if the tile directly above them is a regular roof. The same thing happens if you build a greenhouse yourself. You get snow under the greenhouse roofs but not the regular roofs. If you look at the greenhouse they use a combination of regular roofs and the greenhouse roofs. It looked to me like the issue is that the greenhouse roofs are not considered roofs, but roof decorations, so anything under them is considered outdoors.
